MACBBQ X 55/110 tequila Barrel Pick Release party -san jose-
Join MACBBQ and 55 South as we celebrate the release of our second private barrel pick, Corazon Reposado Tequila! This special offering has been aged for 22 months in a Stagg Bourbon barrel giving it a rare and unique twist on the already great tequila we love.
To make the release party complete, we’ve asked our friends at Cajetas, Phin Bar, and Paleta Planeta to help us build a Mexican themed BBQ, complete with desserts, coffee drinks, and of course the VIP bites (Tsar Nicoulai & Velarde Foods) you’ve come to expect from us!

Curley que Classic (KCBS) -honolulu-
MACBBQ takes Hawaii! Ok, maybe we’re a little too excited, but hey we’ve got great reason to be. This KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Contest on Oahu, Hawaii is scheduled for July 26, 2025 and promises to be a sizzling event for barbecue enthusiasts and competitors alike. This years contest will feature the best of the best in BBQ, with teams vying for top honors in chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket categories.
The event will take place at Kaiser High School and will benefit 2026 Project Grad and the school’s culinary department.

We’ve teamed up with District One Las Vegas and Chef Partner Tu David Phu for an Asian BBQ popup. We’ll be collaborating with District One to add some smoked BBQ love to their menu. We’ll be cooking on the Lang with Post Oak and Cherry wood from B&B Charcoal.
We’ve come up with a few items that will compliment their already amazing menu.

Tu David Phu is the Chef and Partner at District One in Las Vegas, a San Francisco Chronicle Rising Star Chef, two-time TEDx speaker, Top Chef alumnus, acclaimed cookbook author, and storyteller. Originating from Oakland, his journey from nurturing his mother's apartment garden to renowned restaurant kitchens culminated in 'Bloodline,' a PBS film honored with an Emmy nomination.
